The one tool that helped our business the most in 2018

Holy cow, 2018 is coming to an end. Don’t let that scare you though, 2019 is about to kick ass, and we are super excited for it. 2018 brought on a lot of growth for us, and growth means finding new tools and ways to do our work better. We used a ton of great tools, but ultimately we had to choose just one tool that helped us the most this year on the business side of things.

G-Suite for business.

So some of you have probably seen our posts introducing some new team members but if you haven’t you should meet Margot, Steve, and Larry. So G-Suite is Google’s business suite of tools. We’ve had G-Suite for many years, but we never fully utilized these tools until recently. Working with our technical project manager Steve, and our account executive Margot, we have really began utilizing G-Suite fully. All of our meeting notes, budget breakdowns, etc goes into G-Suite. We have weekly stand-ups as a team, all of those notes are in a Google Doc that allows us to collab internally. It’s refreshing to know that we don’t have to try to manually track Pages docs, Word docs, and we can take advantage of not having a program that is dependent on operating system. Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, doesn’t matter.

Every business is different, so you may not need all of the tools that G-Suite offers. But they definitely work well for us and our small, but mighty team of designers, developers, marketers, and all around cool people.
